Asia International School Limited (AISL), renowned for its 25-year educational excellence in Asia, announced the official launch of AISL Harrow Scholarships Programme Y2022/24, marking the second year of the most prestigious – and most generous – award available across the AISL Harrow family.

First launched in early 2021, the Scholarships received an overwhelming global response, with hundreds of exceptionally talented students from over 40 countries applying for the award. Five successful applicants were selected and have joined the AISL Harrow Schools in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong since September 2021.

邁入第二屆，“哈羅亞洲獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金”名額更多、選擇更多，持續(xù)以卓越的教育回饋社會(huì)。這一次，獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金申請(qǐng)者可從AISL哈羅北京、AISL哈羅上海、AISL哈羅深圳、AISL哈羅香港、AISL哈羅曼谷共5所學(xué)校中選擇志愿學(xué)校，每所學(xué)校提供2個(gè)名額，共設(shè)有10個(gè)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金名額。

每一年，AISL哈羅學(xué)校畢業(yè)生無(wú)論是在數(shù)學(xué)、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)等學(xué)術(shù)科目，還是在音樂(lè)、藝術(shù)等領(lǐng)域，均取得輝煌成績(jī)。2021年，哈羅畢業(yè)生A-Level成績(jī)達(dá)到A*-A達(dá)77%，再創(chuàng)新高。

Moving into the second year, the Scholarships will provide exceptionally gifted students who are not currently enrolled in an AISL Harrow School, no matter where in the world they currently live, the opportunity to enrol in AISL Harrow Beijing, AISL Harrow Shanghai, AISL Harrow Shenzhen, AISL Harrow Hong Kong or AISL Harrow Bangkok. Each school provides two scholarships; ten scholarships will be awarded in total.

Awardees of the AISL Harrow Scholarships Programme Y2022/24 can enjoy world-class educational resources and a global alumni network.

Holding the same high standard as that of Harrow School in the UK, AISL Harrow Schools ensure students excel academically and personally through a highly qualified teaching team, a rich selection of co-curricular activities and super curriculum, as well as pastoral care and close personal tutoring.

In 2021, 77% of AISL Harrow Schools graduates achieved A*-A at A-Level examinations. While many schools adopt a one-size-fits-all approach to university guidance, all AISL Harrow Schools have a dedicated university admission and care guidance centre. Specialist tutors support each student’s application process, giving individualised assistance and expert counselling.

第二屆“哈羅亞洲獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金”于2021年10月15日正式開(kāi)放申請(qǐng)，申請(qǐng)學(xué)生可于2021年10月15日至12月10日下午4點(diǎn)前（中國(guó)時(shí)間），登錄“哈羅亞洲獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金”官網(wǎng)

https://www.harrowschools.com/cn/aisl-harrow-scholarships-programme/ 或掃描二維碼投遞申請(qǐng)資料。

申請(qǐng)資料審核合格者將在2022年1月8日至1月27日參加A-Level評(píng)審測(cè)試，并于2022年1月29日至2月24日期間接受線上面試，最終結(jié)果將在2022年3月29日正式公布。

申請(qǐng)資格

1、在2022年8月1日前完成GCSE / IGCSE課程（或同等學(xué)歷），并預(yù)測(cè)成績(jī)優(yōu)異。

2、申請(qǐng)者必須于2005年9月1日至2006年8月31日之間出生

3、申請(qǐng)2022年8月入讀12年級(jí)，2024年6月畢業(yè)。

4、如所在校區(qū)提供寄宿項(xiàng)目，在獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金有效期內(nèi)注冊(cè)為全寄宿生身份。

5、學(xué)術(shù)成績(jī)優(yōu)異，具備良好的英語(yǔ)能力。

6、符合所申請(qǐng)學(xué)校資格要求。

7、目前尚未在任何一所哈羅學(xué)校就讀。

評(píng)獎(jiǎng)依據(jù)

1、學(xué)術(shù)成績(jī)：綜合計(jì)算入學(xué)考試、單科考試、過(guò)往學(xué)業(yè)成績(jī)單、參考資料和教師面試的結(jié)果后，其排名可位列發(fā)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)校前25%。

2、英語(yǔ)能力： 申請(qǐng)人須具備近似母語(yǔ)的良好英文水平，在入學(xué)首天即能聽(tīng)懂所選讀A-Level科目課程內(nèi)容。

3、課外才能：經(jīng)驗(yàn)證在體育、創(chuàng)意表演藝術(shù)、社會(huì)服務(wù)或其他課外拓展領(lǐng)域有著超卓能力和充分投入。

4、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力特質(zhì)：舉例證明過(guò)往曾擔(dān)任領(lǐng)導(dǎo)角色、擔(dān)任過(guò)要職或致力于社會(huì)服務(wù)活動(dòng)。

Application Process

15th October 2021 to 10th December 2021

Applicants can visit https://www.harrowschools.com/aisl-harrow-scholarships/ or scan the QR code for more details and to register interest. Applications close at 4:00 pm 10th December, 2021 (GMT+8).

Applicants will be required to take A- Level assessment tests from 8th January, 2022, to 27th January, 2022 and be interviewed online from 29th January, 2022, to 24th February, 2022. The final application results will be officially announced on 29th March, 2022.

Eligibility

1、Completion of GCSE/IGCSE (or equivalent) studies before 1st August, 2022, with a prediction of outstanding grades.

2、Born between 1st September, 2005 and 31st August, 2006.

3、Be applying for Year 12 study commencing August 2022, with graduation in June 2024

4、Enrol as a full boarding student for the two-year scholarship period. Where boarding is not available, alternative arrangements can be discussed with the relevant AISL Harrow School.

5、Outstanding academic performance, supported by a great English command.

6、Eligibility for a student visa in the country of the relevant AISL Harrow School.

7、Not currently enrolled in any AISL Harrow School.

Selection Criteria

1、Academic performance at the top of the upper quartile of the Participating AISL Harrow School applied to, based on entrance tests, subject-specific tests, previous academic results, references, and interviews with senior staff.

2、Sufficient English language ability to fully access the course content of their chosen A-Level subjects.

3、Proven capability in and a strong commitment to sports, creative and performing arts, community services or other areas of co-curricular activities.

4、Experience in leadership roles, positions of responsibility or commitment to community services.
